A little from our Past… while looking to our Future

In 1926, A. Lane Furniture was established by my Great uncle Abe in Harrisburg PA. Aunt Belle and Uncle Harry were the second-generation owners. They obtained ownership after Uncle Abe passed away.

A. Lane Furniture is also known for its good quality furniture and its customer-oriented service. My Uncle Gene began to run the store in the late 1950s. In 2015, Uncle Gene passed away leaving a long legacy behind. Today as the fourth generation, we are continuing our family’s legacy of handmade outdoor furniture.

I grew up spending many days at the store with my Uncle learning his great work ethic and watching how he treated customers with respect. My Uncle was attentive to customers’ needs. Everyone who came into the store knew that they would get a solid piece of furniture at a fair price. The unsaid motto of the store was “we don’t sell junk here”.

I am the fourth generation of the Lane Family and take great pride in continuing A. Lane’s heritage of excellent customer service and offering only great quality American made products. Our Poly furniture is made from premium grade recycled plastics and assembled with marine grade stainless steel fasteners. Each piece is hand-made by an Amish manufacturer in Lancaster County.

I look forward to meeting you and I am confident, you will find that all of our furniture and accessories will add to your outdoor living area for years to come.
